On 30 October 2017 in Kharkiv (Ukraine) was held Round table, devoted to 100 anniversary of Doctor of Law, Professor, Honoured Researcher for Science and Technology of Ukraine, leading specialist in the sphere of Criminalistics and Forensic Examination Mykhaylo Saltevskiy. Yaroslav the Wise National Law University and Academician Stashis Scientific Research Institute for the Study of Crime Problems were organizers of this scientific event. Place of the conference was National Academy of Legal Sciences. Ukrainian, English and Russian were conference languages.
Rector of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of National Academy of Legal Sciences Vasyl Tatsiy opened this scientific event. He said about important scientific works in spheres of criminalistics and forensic examination of Prof. Dr. Mykhaylo Saltevskiy, and devided of memories about Pofessor.

Saltevskiy)” – Professor, Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Criminal Legal Disciplines and Forensic Examination of Donetsk Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine – O. Oderiy, etc. Scientific reports of Round table participants were published in special collection (book).

The bibliographic index was prepared for the 100th anniversary of Professor M. Saltevskiy and presented during the Round table. It included information about the life and work of Professor, his main dates of life and activity, list of scientific works of Professor, dissertations, performed and protected under the guidance of Professor, publications about Professor and photographs and illustrations. The event took place in a creative warm atmosphere, with reports and presentations. The library of Yaroslav the Wise National Law University has prepared an exhibition of scientific works by Professor M. Saltevskiy for the 100th anniversary of Professor. The Round table was completed by the opening of the memorial complex at the grave site of Professor M. Saltevskiy (cemetery No. 15, Kharkiv, Ukraine).
