On 12 October 2021 in Kharkiv, Yaroslav Mudry National Law University (Ukraine) and on 25 November 2021 in Warsaw, Polish Forensic Association (Poland) it were gala signing of Kharkiv Foundation Act of European Federation of National Associations of Criminalists. Criminalists’ Association of Lithaunia (Prof. Dr. Snieguole Matuliene), International Criminalists Congress (Prof. Dr. hab. Valery Shepitko) and Polish Forensic Association (Prof. Dr. hab. Mieczyslaw Goc) founded new Criminalists Federation with headquarter in Vilnius (Lithuania). More than 200 members Criminalists’ Association of Lithaunia, International Criminalists Congress and Polish Forensic Association in on-site and online modes took part in gala meetings of these Associations in Kharkiv and Warsaw.

The Mission of Federation – to unite international, regional, national and local associations of criminalists, institutes, departments and other non-governmental organizations for strategic cooperation in society of criminalists and forensic experts seeking to contribute for quicker and more effective development of common European area of Criminalistics and Forensic Science. The vision of Federation – through active cooperation of members of Federation harmonized, effectively operating and reflecting purposes of Justice common European area of Criminalistics and Forensic Science created.

Signatories made commitments to prepare and adopt the founding documents of European Federation of National Associations of Criminalists, agree on the project statute of European Federation of National Associations of Criminalists, and prepare the treaty establishing the European Federation of National Associations of Criminalists and sign it in 2022 during the XVIIIth International Congress “Criminalistics and Forensic Expertology: Science, Studies, Practice” in Vilnius (Lithuania) on September 8-10.
